Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist, your key focus areas include:
- Developing client relationships, understanding their needs, earning trust, and demonstrating how IBM's solutions address their problems while adding value.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support during pre-sales and post-sales phases
- Coordinate with technical experts to craft viable client solutions and accelerators
- Contribute to the development of winning client solutions with technical teams and IBM business units
- Leverage industry experts within IBM markets
- Serve as a technical resource for sales teams during architecture development, engagements, and co-creation processes
Key Attributes for Success
- Experience with Generative AI projects including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI workflows, and AI Code Assistants
- Ability to envision and create innovative concepts in strategic environments
- Proven collaboration and communication skills in complex organizational settings
- Strong business acumen combined with technical expertise
- Operational and project management proficiency
- Commercial awareness with end-to-end sales experience and a focus on client success
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.) and AI-based Code Assistants
- Minimum 3 years in sales/solutions roles or as a data scientist/AI Engineer
- Programming proficiency in Python or R
- Experience with sales lifecycle and customer outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with IBM Data products (watsonx.ai, Watsonx Orchestrate, etc.)
- Experience with competitive AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Github Copilot, etc.)
- Market knowledge in Data & AI
