Team Overview: The Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) Team
- Central to bringing AI vision to life.
- Collaborates across the company to develop proprietary AI solutions.
- Provides AI models and platforms that empower teams and deliver customer value.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components:
- Foundation model training
- Large language model inference
- Similarity search
- Guardrails
- Model evaluation
- Experimentation
- Governance
- Observability
- Use a broad stack of open-source and SaaS AI technologies, including:
- AWS Ultraclusters
- Huggingface
- VectorDBs
- Nemo Guardrails
- PyTorch
- Innovate and improve state-of-the-art LLM techniques for performance enhancement.
- Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or AI + 3+ years of experience or Master's degree.
- 3+ years programming in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms.
- Experience with developing AI services.
- Knowledge of AI algorithms including LLM inference, Similarity Search, VectorDBs, Guardrails.
- Master's in CS or related field.
- Proficiency in optimizing training and inference software.
Salary Range (Estimated)
- Cambridge, MA & McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000
- New York, NY & San Francisco & San Jose: $173,000 - $197,400
