The Role
Senior Applied AI Architect
- Partner with customers to design scalable, flexible, resilient cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with AWS Sales and teams to address customer challenges and promote AWS services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on advanced cloud-based AI/ML solutions.
- Focus on building, migrating, and scaling generative AI & ML workloads.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy generative AI industry solutions.
- Use ML and Generative AI tools such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q.
- Define requirements, create solution designs, implement, and support deployed solutions.
- Promote AWS adoption through resource mobilization and partnership.
- Travel regional (15-20%) for client engagements.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensure success in application and service migration on AWS.
- Understand customer business problems and assist in AI/ML ecosystem implementation.
- Educate customers on AWS value proposition.
- Participate in design discussions for cloud solutions.
- Contribute to AWS publications and demos.
- Cultivate deep relationships within customer organizations.
- Share best practices within the AWS Architect community.

Qualifications
Basic
- 5+ years in technology fields (software dev, cloud, security, etc.)
- 3+ years in applications/infrastructure design or consulting
- 7+ years IT industry experience
- Hands-on experience with full stack generative AI workloads.
Preferred
- Experience optimizing AI workloads for cost, latency, resilience.
- PhD in Computer Science (ML, DL, NLP) or Masters with strong AI/ML focus.
- Knowledge of automation and workflow management.
