Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working on technical projects (e.g., apps, websites, tools), roles (e.g., software engineering), or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience with AI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience making technical contributions to developer products.
- Experience with Cloud Computing.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Part community manager and part developer advocate.
- Collaborate with developers at conferences and online.
- Advocate for developers' interests internally at Google.
- Write sample code and client libraries.
- Participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot coding problems.
- Work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs, and testing new features.
- Promote and support platforms like Chrome, Android, App Engine, HTML5, Google Apps, and Ads APIs.
- Drive strategy around fostering a community of developers.
- Represent developers’ needs internally to Product Managers.
- Support developers in application development and technology implementation.
About Cloud Developer Relations
The team focuses on customer success through:
- External technical communities participation
- Product feedback
- External outreach and enablement
Compensation
- US base salary range: $113,000-$161,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
- Salary depends on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
- Compensation details reflect base salary only.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI technologies and apply these in software systems.
- Advocate internally and influence Google Cloud product strategy.
- Participate in technical communities.
- Represent the needs of technical communities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to define strategies and craft narratives around new products and features.
