- Focus on research and development in advanced algorithms and training techniques for Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Build strong research capabilities across various areas.
- Inspire and guide teams, participate in designing, coding, experiments, and translating findings into deliverables.

Role: Research Scientist Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead: Strategic planning, hiring, managing foundational research.
- Innovate: Develop new ML/NLP/IR/GenAI approaches.
- Experiment & Develop: Oversee research lifecycle, publish at conferences.
- Collaborate: Work with internal and academic research engineers.
- Communicate: Share findings via seminars, publications, and technical assets.
About You
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in relevant discipline
- Publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL)
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
- Experience in ML research beyond PhD (industry, academic initiatives)
- Excellent communication skills
- Curious, innovative, and motivated team player
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- High-impact publications
- 5+ years experience leading ML/NLP/IR systems projects
- Experience with large-scale models & distributed training
- Software and infrastructure skills
Data and Computing Resources
- Over 60,000 TBs of legal, regulatory, news, and tax data.

Compensation
- Location-specific ranges ($134,680 - $250,120 in core locations; US range $116,900 - $217,100)
- Potential annual bonus.
