Location: SF / Bay Area Only (Candidates must be based in SF, 3 days/week in SF)
About the Role
You will be instrumental in implementing and bringing to market core features on Zing Data’s platform tailored for GenAI business intelligence. The platform is designed to be collaborative, user-friendly, and compatible across iOS, Android, and Web.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop features for query intelligence and distribution engine to ensure near-instant response times.
- Work with cutting-edge GenAI models such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Meta's LLaMA, Deepseek, and Anthropic.
- Build exceptional user experiences that simplify complex data analysis into natural language questions.
- Enable AI-driven automated workflows.
- Lead technical execution with a team of three engineers.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and architecture patterns
- Proficiency with React and Python
- Experience with JVM languages (Java, Scala) and scripting languages (Node.js, Typescript)
- Familiarity with message queue systems (Redis, Kafka, MQTT)
- Experience with transactional databases (Postgres, MySQL), data warehouses (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Clickhouse)
- Ability to provide on-call platform support
- Bonus: Experience as a founder or building from 0 to 1
