Role Overview: Director of AI Engineering – Transform Review
Lead the team responsible for flagship AI products including Review Center, aiR for Review, and aiR for Privilege.
Goals:
- Drive AI innovation
- Align with AI principles and company mission
- Create unified, cohesive product solutions
Team Composition:
- 50+ engineers and product leaders
- Cross-functional collaboration with other AI & engineering units
Responsibilities
- Champion AI strategy for flagship products
- Ownership of key features and technology functions
- Industry representation (conferences, customer engagements)
- Talent acquisition and team building
- Lead large-scale initiatives: prioritize, allocate resources, communicate effectively
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams
- Manage tech roadmap, tech debt, and architecture investments
- Mentor team members; promote a culture of innovation
- Advocate for data-driven decision making
- Evolve the AI operational model for global scalability
- Conduct onboarding and skill development, especially in North America and Poland
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in AI/ML, with 3-5 years in leadership
- Proven success in building AI products, especially generative AI
- Expertise in data retrieval, search, and ML/AI solutions in mission-critical environments
- Experience in leading software teams across global scale
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming in modern languages, cloud-native environments
- SaaS/Cloud experience, product launch, and growth management
- Knowledge in machine learning, statistics, and APIs
- Experience in big data infrastructure and distributed teams
Compensation
- Competitive salary, performance bonus, long-term incentives
- Salary Range: $195,000 - $293,000 (based on experience and internal equity)
