Role: Data Science Lead
Responsibilities:
- Lead advisory services to high-growth organizations.
- Manage and support a diverse team including data scientists, data architects, developers, and industry leaders.
- Communicate with clients from problem definition to delivery, transfer, and maintenance.
- Select appropriate models ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Work with large structured and unstructured data sources.
- Interpret and communicate insights to clients.
- Lead and support proposals and pitches.
About The Team
Deloitte's AI practice comprises experts with hands-on experience focused on AI transformations, developing solutions grounded in disciplined focus on business outcomes.
Candidate Profile
Essentials:
- Significant experience with Python for data analysis
- Experience with Cloud ML (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an asset
- 5+ years in applying analytics or data work in any industry
- Leadership or project management experience
- Strong skills in statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling
- Database and programming skills in SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, NoSQL databases
- Experience with optimization models, machine learning, forecasting, NLP
- Ability to understand business context and work with ambiguous data
- Strong communication skills
- MSc or higher in Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or related
Salary and Total Rewards
- Salary Range: $84,000 - $175,000
- Additional Benefits: Bonus program, mental health support ($4,000/year), flexible benefit account ($1,300), Deloitte Days, Development and Innovation Days, flexible work arrangements, hybrid work structure.
