The Role
Position
- Title: Computer Vision Engineer
- Type: Full-time, on-site
- Location: Canada
- Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Focus & Responsibilities
- Building and deploying vision systems in real environments.
- Taking CV models and pipelines from concept to production.
- Collaborating in a cross-functional team.
- Developing CV pipelines to support smart home robotics.
- Ensuring real-time, accurate perception in physical environments.
Requirements
- Product-Driven Mindset: Experience with shipped CV-powered products.
- Experience: 5+ years in Computer Vision engineering.
- Strong background with real-time vision systems involving cameras, depth sensors, and LIDAR.
- Hands-on experience with integrating existing modules and delivering under constraints.
- Programming skills in Python and C++ focusing on performance and maintainability.
- Experience deploying CV models on embedded systems, edge devices, or cloud robotics.
- Skills in sensor fusion, integrating multiple sensor streams into system logic.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 (dependent on experience)
- Stock options: Available after 1 year (negotiable)
- Work environment: On-site only, not remote
- Schedule: Structured 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Work with top-tier AI talent on innovative robotics projects.
- Be involved in a real product launch, not just R&D.
