Project Overview
- Focus on planetary surface imagery datasets, automating discovery with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Address the challenge of manually searching vast datasets for scientifically relevant features
- Improve planetary science understanding and surface process models through AI/ML methods
Candidate Profile
- Expertise in AI/ML for image analysis
- Knowledge of planetary science and computer science
- Publication experience in planetary science
- Additional assets:
- Experience with planetary image datasets
- Data science tools
- Geographic Information Software
- Network of expert contacts in relevant fields
