Overview
We're hiring an experienced AI/ML Engineer to identify and implement advanced machine learning solutions that drive innovation across manufacturing, customer engagement, and operational processes.
This role involves hands-on development using Azure-based tools and Large Language Models (LLMs), with opportunities to work on projects involving IoT, predictive analytics, and generative AI. You will collaborate across business units and technical teams to align AI initiatives with broader strategic goals.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and assess opportunities for applying AI/ML across manufacturing, IoT, and customer operations
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models using Azure cloud services
- Work with large, complex datasets to support model training, tuning, and evaluation
- Develop and integrate large language models (LLMs) into business processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align solutions with business goals
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices
- Build proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate value and feasibility
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of production AI/ML solutions
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and cloud-based tools
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science
- Strong programming skills in Python or R
- Proficiency with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Data Factory, Cognitive Services
- Hands-on work with LLMs, including fine-tuning and deployment
- Familiarity with MLOps practices for model lifecycle management
- Ability to work independently on complex projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience applying AI/ML in manufacturing, IoT, or industrial settings
- Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics
- Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, or big data pipelines
- Exposure to AI/ML integration on edge or IoT devices
