Job Description
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Location: Calgary / Edmonton (3 days a week in office)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Data Bricks and Snowflake
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or C#, and SQL
- Experience with Large Language Models such as GPT-4, Gemini, or Llama
- Familiarity with agentic tools like Lang Graph (also open to Lang Chain or Semantic Kernel)
- Experience with vector datastores and embedding models, preferably with Pinecone
- Proven track record of delivering a successful AI project to production
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI)
- Industry experience in energy or related fields
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models and agentic systems to solve complex problems in power generation and commodities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI applications and integrate solutions
- Conduct data analysis and preprocessing for high-quality AI input
- Monitor and optimize AI model performance to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Document AI development processes and prepare technical reports for stakeholders
