About the Role
As an AI Engineering Director, you will:
- Lead technical delivery and strategic engagement for a major AI-driven US healthcare platform.
- Be a trusted partner to C-level stakeholders.
- Interface with solution architecture, AI capability leadership, and client engagement.
- Collaborate with Program Director, Product Lead, global delivery teams.
- Influence company strategy and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead and client-facing engineering owner.
- Drive architecture, design, and validation of frontier AI solutions (LLMs, ML models, data pipelines).
- Own and present technical proposals.
- Represent engineering in milestones like discovery, demos, estimation, delivery.
- Coach and align distributed teams across US, Europe, and Asia.
- Build client trust through expertise and communication.
- Support sales with technical strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years in engineering leadership in software or tech.
- Strong expertise in AI/ML systems, data pipelines, cloud environments.
- Success in enterprise architecture, especially in data-sensitive sectors like healthcare.
- Ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and mentoring global teams.
- Location: East Coast US or willing to travel.
- Strong decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Skills
- BSc in related fields (Math, CS, Engineering, etc.).
- Deep understanding of Probability, Statistics, Machine Learning.
- Hands-on experience with Data Science/AI/ML solutions, deployment.
- Expertise in Generative AI, model tuning, enterprise integration.
- Software architecture and data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, Scala, etc.
- Experience with imbalanced datasets, time series, anomaly detection.
- Knowledge of AI cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, NVidia).
