Opportunity
CACI is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon the award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
Key Responsibilities
AI Engineer - Senior
- Architect and implement AI/ML models and systems
- Provide analysis and guidance to improve performance
- Mentor team members on best practices
- Create technical frameworks for strategy implementation
- Deploy tooling in disconnected environments
- Foster relationships with classified systems developers
- Optimize infrastructure as code and software bills of materials
- Provide deployment expertise across the technology stack
- Identify pain points in classified program model training and deployment
- Research, understand, and deploy third-party and in-house machine learning capabilities
- Incorporate lessons learned for deployment artifacts
- Establish vision and objectives for MLOps platform support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for AI/ML opportunities
- Build scalable models and integrate into products
- May supervise others
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Current Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret (TS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar
- Minimum 5 years' experience in AI/ML modeling and systems
- Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or IAM Level I
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team working ability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading major tech projects
- Ability to recommend efficiencies

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $89,500 - $188,000
