About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Agentic AI Systems Engineer to support a global digital transformation initiative focused on building Generative AI applications that automate data management and analytics across manufacturing and quality operations.
This role is a crucial part of the Game-Changing Digital Capabilities program, aiming to develop scalable solutions with intelligence and automation for biopharma process data analytics.
You will work closely with teams in Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), Automation, Digital, and Quality to design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents and machine learning applications, utilizing modern cloud and AI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Agentic AI systems using Large Language Models (LLMs) and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain) to automate manufacturing and quality data tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MSAT engineers, automation specialists, and data governance leads.
- Create data contextualization pipelines by mapping process parameters to data sources like MES, PI Historian, LIMS, and iShift systems.
- Develop and deploy AI applications using cloud-native tools such as Snowflake, Sanofi OneAI, Power BI, Python, and AWS services.
- Contribute to data standardization efforts with best practices in data engineering and cloud data infrastructure.
- Build integrations with platforms such as vector databases, SIMCA, PI Vision, and GitHub-based MLOps pipelines.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience with Agentic AI capabilities using LLMs.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, vector databases).
- Proficiency in Snowflake for analytics and pipeline development.
- Experience deploying AI on AWS Cloud.
- Strong skills in Python, GitHub, and Power BI.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with biopharmaceutical manufacturing data systems such as MES, PI Historian, LIMS, and iShift.
- Experience with JMP, SIMCA, or other statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge of data management standards, regulatory compliance, and GxP environments.
- Understanding of MLOps pipelines and CI/CD for ML models.
